Gord Capital is the capital company of the Gord Holdings family office. It deploys the group’s balance sheet across principal investments, venture, private equity, merchant banking and asset management.

The capital is permanent: no fund life, no vintage year, no date on which anyone must be repaid. That single structural fact is what makes the rest of this office possible — it can hold a position through a bad decade, underwrite infrastructure that pays back over fifteen years, and decline an exit that arrives at the wrong time.

What it will and will not underwrite is published rather than described on request. An allocation policy that only exists in a meeting is not a policy.
